Gencon 2014 Events

I am attempting to do GenCon this year without a hotel room. I wanted to lay out my plan and see if anyone wanted to carpool with me.

I registered for:
Iron Gauntlet Qualifier (Thursday Morning)
Masters Qualifier x2 (All day Friday)
Blood Sweat and Tiers (Saturday Morning)
True Dungeon...hopefuly (Saturday Evening) Has anyone talked to Rick?
Team Tournament (Sunday Morning)

What I hope to be playing in:
Iron Gauntlet Qualifier (Thursday Morning)
Masters Qualifier x2 (All Day Friday)
Iron Guantlet Finals (Saturday...Most of the Day)
True Dungeon (Saturday Evening)
Burlesque(?) show...could be to late.
Masters (Sunday Morning)

Does anyone want to carpool with me under the assumption that you will be on the same schedule?

I may blow Saturday off in order to rest up for Masters on Sunday, it depends on what there is to get into...or if I get into Masters.

I might do Friday with you. And then Sunday should things go my way.

I'm curious, why the desire to skip the hotel room? Wouldn't the gas savings alone be worth it? Not to mention the time spent driving each day.

Gencon hotels are crazy expensive.

If I were staying the whole weekend, I would share a hotel with someone. But I think I only want to go up for a tournament or two this year.

I may even be skipping Thursday and Saturday as well. I just found out that I am in for True Dungeon on Friday night. I feel kinda like a fuddy-duddy for only going for two days though...I guess that I will just have to make the most out of them.

I am signed up for Spelldraft, and both Masters' so far.
