GenCon Campsite

Post by DanS on August 4th 2014, 4:35 pm

I am going to try out camping at KOA for Gencon.

5896 West 200 North
Greenfield, IN 46140

It is minutes away from Indianapolis and only $130.00 for Thursday-Sunday. The campsite holds up to 6 people...so if anyone is on the fence for gencon and needs a place to stay grab you shit and crash with me at the site.

My parent visit family over there about once or twice a month. They found a bus service that leaves from around the UC area. If you go during the week it's like $1.00 round trip from Cincy to Indy. On the weekend it's about $15 round trip. If your interested I will try to get the name. Not sure where it drops off in Indy

It's Megabus. Says it drops off near Washington & Deleware in Indy. Said a a double decker with wi-fi and some other stuff.

Camping for Gencon actually sounds like fun to me. However, I still cannot go. Shit.

Nick and I had grand plans for camping at GenCon, but we never followed through. Maybe next year...?

Never heard of Megabus, but I like cheap transportation. Going to use them for a trip to Chicago in September.

$5 up and $25 back. That's like infinitely cheaper than gas, no parking fees, no wear on my car, and no chance of my car getting broken into.

Well, there is still a chance of your car getting broken into...When are you leaving again?

For some reason I am picturing your little girl sitting on the stoop, waiting for me with a shotgun..."I'm going to ask you once to back up, mister."

No, she's shy and doesn't really talk to people she doesn't know.

So you probably wouldn't get any warning!
